I am a passionate educator who believes all can learn and should have access to the best educational experiences. I started my career as a secondary science teacher and found that middle schoolers were my favorite- yes, really! I transitioned to Higher Education when I was offered a job to blend my teaching expertise with horses as an Equine Science Lecturer for USU. My real intent was to find my way back to K12 and go into administration. Alas, I have yet to leave higher education and am now in charge of the School Library Program at USU, teaching courses in Instructional Technology & Learning Sciences (ITLS), and mentoring the ITLS MEd students. I did my doctoral research on using simulation technology as a feedback modality for performance competencies with an emphasis on “feedback literacy”. I am grateful to be a part of the educational landscape.
