Children and Teen Book Enhancement Grant now open.  Deadline to apply is January 27, 2023.

Blended Learning Videos.

The State Library Division has been tasked with creating online training videos to support today’s blended learning environment. These videos will be targeted at librarians and teachers in K-12, higher ed, and public libraries. We’re putting out a call to you, the experts in our state, to create these resources. 

Visit the info sheet for our list of high-demand topics and details about the program. Any library staff in Utah from any type of library are invited to submit proposals here. Accepted trainers will be compensated at $400 for 30 minute videos and $800 for 60 minute videos. Contact Merrily Cannon or Liz Gabbitas with questions.

  • September 17 – Application closes 
  • Between September 22-29 – Five-Star conducts training 
  • October 1-November 23 – Libraries conduct their Applied Digital Skills/Virtual Learning program 
  • November 24-Dec 10 – Libraries submit a brief report of program
